These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("you",
"user") and the developer of the WordToBrain application ("we", "our", "the
Developer"). By downloading, installing, or using WordToBrain (the "App") you
agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
WordToBrain is a speed-reading application that displays text one word at a
time at a fixed focal point. The App is provided for personal,
non-commercial use. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the
App at any time, with or without notice, and we are not liable to you or to
any third party for such changes.
Purchases made inside the App are processed and billed by the store from which
you downloaded the App: Apple App Store (via your Apple ID) or Google Play
(via your Google account). We do not collect or store your payment card
details. Payment terms of the applicable store apply to every purchase.
The App may offer an auto-renewing subscription ("WordToBrain Pro") that
removes advertising. The current subscription price, billing period, and
entitlements are displayed in the App at the moment of purchase.
By purchasing a subscription you acknowledge and agree that:

Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current, already

in advance through the App or the store, and the new price applies to the
next renewal. By continuing to use the subscription after a price change you
accept the new price. If you do not accept it, cancel before the renewal
date.
App reverts to the free version, which may display advertising, on your next
launch or shortly after.
The free version of the App may display third-party advertisements (interstitial
ads) at moments that do not interrupt active reading — most often during the
automatic eye-rest breaks recommended by the App and when a book is opened.
Ads are shown at restricted frequencies (for example, at most one ad per ten
minutes and twelve per day) and only on the mobile versions of the App; the web
version is ad-free. Subscribers do not see ads. We do not control the content
of third-party advertisements; advertisers are solely responsible for their
ads.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited,
non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App
on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may
not: copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; reverse engineer,
decompile, or disassemble it; rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense it;
remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices; or use the App in any way
that violates applicable law.
You are solely responsible for the texts, files, and other content you import
into or process with the App. You must not use the App to store or process
content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise harmful. You
retain all rights in your content; we claim no ownership over it. Your content
is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by the Developer
or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other
intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in
the App other than the license described in Section 5.
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at
https://deff9984.github.io/wordtobrain-privacy/, and by the privacy policies
of the stores and of the advertising and payment providers the App uses. By
using the App you consent to the processing of your data as described there.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any
kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied
warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and
non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted,
error-free, or free of harmful components, or that reading-time or other
estimates the App shows are accurate. WordToBrain is a reading tool and does
not provide medical, psychological, or educational advice; it is not a
substitute for professional consultation, including eye care.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive
damages, or for any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible
losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use,
the App. The Developer's total liability arising out of or in connection with
these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or
subscriptions in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the
claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain
damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material
changes through the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the App
after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The
"Last updated" date at the top of these Terms indicates the latest revision.
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate them at any
time by discontinuing the use of the App and, where applicable, cancelling any
subscription as described in Section 3. We may terminate or suspend your access
to the App if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature
should survive termination (including Sections 6–10 and 13–15) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which you reside,
without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of
or in connection with these Terms will first be subject to an attempt at
good-faith negotiation; if the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30)
days, you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that
country, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this Section
limits mandatory consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived by contract.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the
remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together
with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the
Developer regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements.

the extent of the conflict.*
